How we will work with you.
Our design and production schedule works around individual project time frames. It is best to contact us at least 6 months ahead of your anticipated installation date. However, on occasion we may be able to accommodate projects within a shorter timescale so please feel free to discuss this with us.
How we will work with you.
We are delighted that you are considering Silva Cabinetry for your forthcoming project. We are a small friendly team who understand that starting a new project is very exciting and we look forward to working with you on yours, whether it is to enhance your home or work environment.
To help us provide you with the right level of support and an accurate quote we will need certain information from you. Please let us know via email which of the following options you feel best describes where you are at so we can respond and help guide you appropriately.
Option 1 - Already working with an architect and/or designer.
If you are already working with an architect or designer we will be able to provide a quote from a set of plans, elevations and chosen material specifications. We will need you to email through all the scaled drawings and specifications.
Option 2 - Assisting you with design and planning.
If you are still a little unsure and would like to engage our support and guidance with the design from the start we would be delighted to help.
This process starts by arranging an initial conversation with you to discuss the project scope and any current ideas you may have. Next, we will meet with you on-site to gain a deeper understanding of how you would like to use the space. Importantly, this meeting also allows us to detect any potential architectural, building, electrical or plumbing issues present so they will not hinder cabinetry installation.
A set of detailed plans and a full quote will be sent out to you following the meeting.
An upfront non-refundable fee starting from $200 applies.
Option 3 - Intending to plan and design the project yourself.
If you intend to tackle the project yourselves, great! We will require precise information from you such as dimensioned room plans, material specifications and exact layouts etc.
Consider your budget.
If you are looking for a low-cost budget kitchen, bathroom, office or bedroom project then we are afraid we are not the makers for you. Our small skilled team produce quality, handmade, bespoke cabinetry to meet your individual needs. We offer a wide range of quality materials, finishes and designs which range in price depending on the amount of work involved and the choices you wish to make.
So we can tailor the project to meet your individual needs it is essential that we discuss budget at the outset to design appropriately and best meet your needs and expectations.
Our fee structure
10% deposit invoiced following general agreement of the quote and design, securing your place in our workshop schedule.
40% procurement invoice issued in line with ordering materials.
25% manufacturing and delivery invoice issued prior to scheduling delivery to site.
25% final invoice issued upon completion of the works.
